Two parts – the art and the science; the ends and the means. Successful small business planning comes down to only two questions, “What do you want?” and, “How will you get it?”
STEP 1 of the 7-step-proven-income-opportunity-system is about
"the art". It's about developing a clear vision for your internet business venture. First, you need to do some soul-searching to reflect on your vision and purpose in life. This step teaches you to live by design instead of by default.
I recommend you to pay close attention to this first step.
Why?
Because STEP 1 is a foundational step. It gives you the "WHY" behind your great ideas for earning money online and behind every other step you take in small internet business. STEP 1 is the driving force, the light at the end of the tunnel that attracts you to move toward your heart's desire.

What Is Vision?
Good question. Let's try to find a definition.
Every successful internet businessperson or Netpreneur has a vision. He knows where he is going. He lives in the future. He is dreaming his dreams of tomorrow.
A vivid vision fuels your self-motivation. Vision is the ability to create something wonderful in your imagination. There’s a spiritual connotation to the ability to have vision. It taps into our deepest wisdom and creativity.
A wonderful thing about vision is that, although you cannot change the past, you can create your future.
So, let's say that for the purpose of this web site visioning is defined as:
"Living in the future, dreaming your e-business dreams of tomorrow".
Why Vision?
Let's move beyond the "what" question to the "why" question.
Why is it necessary to create a real perspective, a real vision for your internet work at home opportunities?
I would say that without a compelling vision, it becomes too easy to give up and give in to the mediocrity that binds us to an ordinary life, rather than an extraordinary one.
A clear vision is the first step on the road to your success as a

- Direction. A vision gives you direction. You go where your attention is, and your vision is the roadmap of your journey and online work at home opportunities. Your vision shows you where everything is, where you are and where you want to go in your professional life.
- Focus. A vision helps you to focus on achieving a definite goal. When you know where you’re going, it’s easy to stay on the road to get there. Distractions are like side roads that you can choose not to go down. You go where your attention goes.
- Action. Vision causes you to be proactive. Proactivity is important for any small internet business and all work at home opportunities. Vision puts you in the driver’s seat so you create your reality and not merely react to it.
- Clarity. Imagine trying to drive through a thick fog. When you have a vision, it’s like the sun breaking through the clouds on the clear, open highway. You know what’s in front of you, and you know what to expect along the way.
- Power. Vision gives you following-through power. When you have a vision, setbacks and obstacles are seen as minor bumps along the way. When you’re committed to the destination, you have more power to keep moving forward.

How Do You Create A Compelling Vision?

First of all, (1) demystify the process. A vision is simply a clear idea of what it is you want.

If your answer is "To be rich", I recommend you to take it further. What would riches do for you, your family, friends, and community? How would you feel if you achieved your goals? What would your life look like? How would things be different than they are today?
Take a few minutes to think about where you want your life to be in five years time.
Close your eyes and (2) visualize your life... the house you will be living in, the lifestyle you and your family will be enjoying, the vacations you will be taking, the car you will be driving, your children's education.
(3) Picture every detail... the colors, the textures, the sights, sounds and smells. The more vividly you paint your picture, the stronger will be your desire to go for it and the longer it will last through the ups and downs that lie ahead.
The clearer your vision, the more likely you are to create it.
(4) Tell yourself that you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can do it. The moment you (5) write your vision down, it begins to become reality.
There is no easy route to riches. I don't oversell you on internet work at home opportunities. As with everything else in life, part-time effort will not yield full-time results. There are times when you must alter your strategies you employ to reach your online business goals, but your vision should never alter nor falter.
When your vision falters, whatever the cause, your strenght collapses, and the resulting effect on your business and internet work at home opportunities can be catastrophic.
However, creating a vision is not a one-time activity, but rather an ongoing part of your e-business process.
It is important to visit and revisit your vision - daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. Over time, you will refine and tweak it, and it will become a living force in your professional life.

Read and speak your vision at least twice daily.
After doing so for at least 30 days, your subconscious will begin to create a physical and mental state consistent with what is needed to manifest your vision.
Bringing Your Vision To Life
Vision is the ability to see a situation as it is, then plan how you want it to be. Without vision, there is no direction, no motivation.
A clear vision held over time is very likely to come into being. A crucial mistake many internet businesspersons make is to drop their visions and online work at home opportunities when things get tough.
Focusing on what you want, especially when it doesn't seem to matter or appear to be achievable, is the mark of a great small business leader.
First, uncover your individual dream. Then strive to keep it alive.
