Let me tell you a story. I tell you this story, because I think it will help you to become successful at home businesses online.
The story of the desert island community helps you to understand the concept of unlimited wealth.
I first heard about the story of the desert island community, when I studied economics. Our professor used this story to teach me and his other students some important economic principles.
I have adapted the story somewhat to explain to you the most important economic concept underlying our modern economy: unlimited wealth.
It is important that you understand the rationale of the story, because it explains very well how our economy works and teaches you the basic principles of our unlimited economy.

The Island Society
Imagine that you and 20 other people are shipwrecked on a desert island with no provisions.
In order to survive, you and the 20 other people must organize a society and divide themselves into work groups according to specific chores - building shelters, making weapons, gathering food, collecting firewood, and so on.
What are you going to do?
Most people want to democratically rotate the various chores throughout the new island society.
However, you will quickly learn that the society fares far better if each person specializes and works full-time at a particular task.
The Rationale Behind Specialization
John who builds shelters on Monday can usually accomplish the same task in less time on Tuesday, and in even less time on Wednesday, as skills and knowledge requisite to the task are developed.
Moreover, repetition of the task often leads to the development of tools that help complete the task better and even in less time.
By Thursday, John has made a tool to cut good leaves from the trees before they fall to the ground. By Friday, John is able to accomplish a former day's work in less than three hours, so he starts learning how to make new variants of shelters.
So, what's the lesson of specialization?
As you and the 20 other people develop proficiency at their particular chores, the chores can be performed by fewer and fewer people.
They are performed in a fraction of the time and by a fraction of the people originally required to complete them.
This frees some members of the society to explore new pursuits - producing new products, more tools, and even providing entertainment.
A New Need Arises: Distribution
The society's members become so efficient at producing their particular product or service that a new need arises - distribution.
Soon some people are engaged full-time just distributing the products that everyone else is creating.
These distributors, or merchants, are mostly educating everyone about what the others are doing and what is available.
They end up being the wealthiest members of the island society, because they add the most value - especially when the island society encounters another island society and the distributors begin trading more produce and more tools.
The Two Main Principles Of Unlimited Wealth
OK. Let's end the story of the desert island community here.
What's the lesson?
The story of the desert island community learns you the two main principles of unlimited wealth underlying our modern economy.
People who are successful at home businesses online understand these two principles and apply them in their personal and professional lives.
Here are the two main principles:
1) There is no limit to the amount of a single good or service an individual can produce by making use of the advancing technology that automatically results from increasing specialization (i.e. unlimited wealth).
2) The total overall wealth of a society is thus limited only by distribution: the number of individuals available to trade with for their specialized produce.
Principle two also learns that it is interesting to invite a passing ship of 50 destitute foreigners to the island community and share with them the newly developed wealth.
You and the 70 other people will become even richer when the newcomers are welcomed with open arms into the island society.
