Child Internet Privacy Policy

At '7-step-proven-income-opportunity-system.com' I take my child internet privacy policy seriously. Internet child safety is important! I do not knowingly collect personal information (name, e-mail address) from children under the age of 13. If I learn that I have personal information (name, e-mail address) on a child under the age of 13, I will delete that information from my computer systems.

Internet Safety Tips For Kids

I strongly encourage all parents to go online with their children. Here are a few Internet safety tips for children and young people that will help to make your child's online experience safer and more pleasant:
  • Teach your kids never to give personal information (name, e-mail address), unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult. Personal information includes the child's name, age, gender, (e-mail) address, phone, school, etc.

  • Know the web sites your children are visiting and which sites are appropriate.

  • Never permit kids or teens to access the Internet behind locked doors. Always monitor your child's online activities. You may trust your kids, but you cannot trust the unscrupulous people and marketers they encounter online who will use cunning methods to deceive them.

  • Look for a web site's privacy policy and/or child internet privacy policy and read it carefully. Know how your child's information is treated.

TIP

Be sure to check out some resources for more tips on protecting children's privacy online. Here are two excellent sites with tips on child internet privacy policy:

1) The Web Aware site (Opens new window) a Canadian bilingual education program in Internet safety. It is designed to raise parent's awareness and to provide practical Internet safety tips for children and young people.

2) The Federal Trade Commission's site (Opens new window). It provides information to enable kids to become Web savvy.

Google (Opens new window) also designed a site to help you find quick links to safety tools.
